As the pandemic continues to walk among us, we understand some of the hardships many family will face during these tragic times.  For more assistance, do not hesitate to contact these local, beneficial programs that are readily available for you.
 
 
California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids (CalWORKs): 
CalWORKs is a cash aid program, which provides financial help for eligible families with children in the home.
 
Cal-Fresh:
CalFresh (formerly Food Stamps) is a food program to help families and individuals buy nutritional foods. CalFresh assistance is based on your household’s size and income level.
 
Medi-Cal:
Medi-Cal is California's Medicaid health care program. This program pays for a variety of medical services for children and adults with limited income and resources. Covered California makes it simple and more affordable for millions of Californians to get affordable, quality health insurance that can’t be canceled or denied because of a pre-existing medical condition or if someone gets sick.

The Youth and Family Services Programs: are designed to meet the socio-emotional and behavioral needs of children, youth, and families in both Sutter and Yuba Counties. Services include assessment/diagnosis, psychiatric services, psychotherapy, case management, intensive care coordination, intensive home-based services and therapeutic behavioral services.

California Children's Services:
The California Children’s Services program provides diagnostic and treatment services, medical case management, and physical and occupational therapy services to children under age 21. CCS-eligible conditions include, but are not limited to chronic medical conditions such as:
  1. cystic fibrosis
  2. hemophilia
  3. cerebral palsy
  4. heart disease
  5. cancer
  6. traumatic injuries
  7. infectious diseases producing major sequelae
